Our Brand Story
The Origin
The Amazing Woman Network was not designed in a boardroom — it was born out of necessity, vision, and divine assignment.
Its roots live in the personal journey of Crystal Lore McGee Gunn, whose very name carries the meaning of ancestral stories. AWN arose as the living response to a lifelong call to remember, reclaim, and reimagine what it means to be a Black woman in her full brilliance.
Crystal’s own path revealed the hunger for a sacred space where women could gather without judgment, amplify each other’s voices, and build legacies of wealth, healing, and power. AWN is the container Spirit instructed her to build — a network, yes, but more truthfully, a movement of remembrance and an energetic hub for Black women’s financial and spiritual liberation.
What began as one woman’s need for empowerment became a circle of sisters and a collective drumbeat: no Black woman should have to walk alone, shrink her light, or silence her power. From this origin story flows every branch, every program, every ritual — all rooted in the belief that together we rise, and together we leave a legacy that endures.
The Purpose — Our Deeper Why
The Amazing Woman Network exists because Black women have always carried the medicine, the wisdom, and the fire to transform families, communities, and generations. Yet, too often, systems have sought to diminish that power.
Our deeper why is simple but profound: to restore what was established at birth. Every Black woman was born brilliant, purposeful, and whole. AWN is here to remind her of that truth, to create a sanctuary where she is seen, honored, and equipped to rise without apology.
AWN is the hub for Black women’s financial and spiritual liberation. Here, women who are already thriving expand into overflow, women who are building find strategy and sisterhood, and every woman remembers that wealth, wellness, and worth are her birthright. We are not here to fix what is broken, but to amplify brilliance, circulate abundance, and anchor legacies that last for generations.
